Industrial Real Estate Developer Has Green Transformation Strategy for 2024
This is a category of the 'For a Green Future' voting program within the framework of the Vietnam Industrial Real Estate Forum, organized by Investment Newspaper in collaboration with the Vietnam Industrial Real Estate Association (VIREA).
The award aims to encourage and honor investors with strategies for developing eco-industrial parks (IIPs) and green industrial parks, as well as secondary investors leasing land in IIPs with green development strategies, using clean energy, sustainable infrastructure, smart water management, and ecosystem resource management, contributing to promoting sustainable development trends. 2024 was the first year the selection process was implemented. After the launch, the organizing committee received enthusiastic interest and participation from many businesses. The selection committee reviewed and selected 28 businesses with the best green transformation strategies, including TTC IZ.

By seizing trends and opportunities, and with a strategic vision, TTC IZ has affirmed its position and reputation in the market, built its brand, and made positive contributions to the sustainable development of the community. Thanh Thanh Cong Industrial Park is the core of TTC IZ's development, covering 1,020 hectares, including 760 hectares of industrial land, 76 hectares of residential land, and 184 hectares of warehouse and port facilities and a solar power plant, located in Trang Bang town, Tay Ninh province. It is one of the largest industrial parks in Vietnam with an occupancy rate of up to 95%.
In particular, Thanh Thanh Cong Industrial Park is developed on the foundation of harmonizing production and business activities, protecting both the natural and social environment, maintaining its position as a model industrial park in the Southern Key Economic Region.
KThe long-term credit rating is 'vnA' and the outlook is 'Stable'.
Previously, on June 17, 2024, TTC IZ continued to receive a long-term credit rating of “vnA” and a “Stable” outlook from Saigon Ratings. This is the second consecutive year that TTC IZ has been honored with this rating, thanks to a transparent and open evaluation process based on stringent requirements regarding: Investment management of projects ensuring timely implementation and efficient operation; prudent financial strategy planning and low current financial risk; and high scale and diversification, being one of the first industrial parks in Tay Ninh and Vietnam to develop according to a multi-sector ecological industrial park model.
After more than 16 years of operation in the industrial real estate and logistics sector, TTC IZ has made a strong impression on domestic and international investors. TTC IZ is also a company that consistently focuses on environmentally friendly practices, demonstrated through its plan to construct a centralized wastewater treatment plant in accordance with environmental regulations at the Thanh Thanh Cong Industrial Park.

Investing in a large-scale wastewater treatment plant offers a dual benefit: solving the problem of treating wastewater from factories in the industrial park and protecting the environment and human well-being, contributing to national economic development. Therefore, the wastewater treatment plant system applies world-leading technology with a capacity of up to 15,000 m³.3Construction of the day and night project commenced in Q1/2024 at Thanh Thanh Cong Industrial Park.

Upon completion, the plant will have practical significance in ensuring the consistent quality of treated water and meeting the standards of wastewater treatment and reuse systems. Once operational, the treated wastewater will significantly contribute to mitigating water loss during droughts or be used for irrigating agricultural land in the surrounding area. Furthermore, the sludge from the treatment process can be pressed to produce compost (a type of organic fertilizer highly beneficial for plants).
