(DNTO) – On the afternoon of August 4th, a delegation from the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, led by Mr. Dang Hong Anh – Member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union, and President of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association – worked with the leaders of Vinh Long province to discuss the situation of the young entrepreneur movement in the province after the merger of provincial-level administrative units.

A general overview of the working session.

During the meeting, Mr. Dang Hong Anh informed the provincial leaders about some basic information regarding the Association's activities over its 32 years of formation and development; and also discussed the future direction of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association.

The Chairman of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association and members of the delegation exchanged views and clarified the operational direction; the preparation of personnel for the merger of the former Young Entrepreneurs Associations of Vinh Long, Ben Tre, and Tra Vinh into the new Vinh Long Young Entrepreneurs Association; and expressed their hope that the leaders of Vinh Long province would consider the opinions of the delegation members to provide specific guidance in preparing new personnel for the upcoming Congress of the Association to achieve the best results.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dang Van Chinh respectfully thanked the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association for its affection and responsibility towards the Vinh Long Young Entrepreneurs Association over the past period; and stated that he acknowledged the opinions of the delegation members at today's meeting and would advise and report to the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to focus on resolving difficulties and obstacles regarding personnel matters in preparation for the merger of the former Vinh Long, Ben Tre, and Tra Vinh Young Entrepreneurs Associations into the new Vinh Long Young Entrepreneurs Association, with the spirit of creating consensus and unity towards the future development of the Young Entrepreneurs Association.

At the same time, provincial leaders expressed their hope that the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association would continue to pay attention to the operational criteria and development orientation of the Association in the coming time, especially the issue of business development; support and create conditions for young businesses to develop dynamically and creatively; focus on applying science and technology to the management, production and business of enterprises; and support the development of start-up businesses…

Both sides agreed on major coordination directions to strengthen connections and support young entrepreneurs; including the rapid restructuring of the new Vinh Long Young Entrepreneurs Association, with the goal of forming an increasingly dynamic and effective community of young entrepreneurs in the province that makes a positive contribution to local development.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association donated two charitable houses to Vinh Long province, with a total value of 140 million VND.
