On April 18, 2023, Thanh Thanh Cong Industrial Park Joint Stock Company held its 3rd Trade Union Congress for the 2023-2028 term. The congress aimed to summarize and evaluate the employee movement and trade union activities during the 2017-2022 term, set forth directions and tasks for the 2023-2028 term, and elect a new Executive Committee to lead the implementation of trade union tasks for the 2023-2028 term. Attending the congress were Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Lien – Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor – President of the Trade Union of Tay Ninh Province Economic Zone, and Mr. Le Quang Vu – Deputy General Director of the Company.

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Thi Kim Lien – Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor – President of the Trade Union of the Tay Ninh Provincial Economic Zone, praised and highly appreciated the efforts of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union and all union members and workers in the company. These efforts have contributed to consolidating and enhancing the position of the Trade Union organization, making important contributions to the successful implementation of the company's political tasks. On this basis, many collectives and individuals have been recognized and awarded emulation titles and forms of commendation by competent authorities every year. She also suggested that, based on an assessment of the shortcomings of the previous term, the new Executive Committee of the Trade Union should continue to research and strongly promote patriotic emulation movements among cadres, civil servants, and workers from the beginning of the term; and encourage cadres, civil servants, and workers to continuously learn and improve their skills to meet the requirements and tasks assigned, and to meet the requirements of innovation and integration. Particular emphasis should be placed on improving the organizational capacity and management skills of trade union officials to effectively participate in building a clean and strong Party and government. In addition, strengthening the inspection and supervision work of grassroots trade unions will contribute to the effective implementation of policies and regulations, ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers; and continue to encourage officials, civil servants, and workers to actively participate in social and charitable activities, especially major campaigns and activities organized by higher-level trade unions…

Based on the achievements of the past term, the opinions and contributions of the delegates, and the orientations for key tasks in the coming period, at the conclusion of the Congress program, the Congress unanimously voted to approve the resolution of the Congress with 05 specific targets to be implemented during the 2023-2028 term.
