Private capital inflows into Da Nang have been quite vibrant recently, with numerous large projects being launched and construction accelerating. This confirms that the private sector plays a pivotal role and is the main driving force for the city's economic growth.

A series of major projects simultaneously commenced construction.
Of the total social investment capital of VND 21,858 billion in Da Nang city over the past six months, private sector capital accounted for nearly VND 15,000 billion, an increase of nearly 57% compared to the same period last year. A series of large-scale projects have been implemented, creating a vibrant investment atmosphere. A notable example is the TTC Plaza Da Nang project, one of the key commercial complex projects in the city center with a total investment of nearly VND 3,000 billion. The project is designed in a unique block shape, creating a luxurious and modern architectural highlight, with the expectation that it will not only contribute to changing the city's appearance and attracting domestic and international tourists but also comprehensively meet the diverse needs of local residents, from shopping and dining to culture, education, and entertainment.
For example, the Sunsea Towers tourist and commercial apartment complex is a mixed-use development comprising a shopping mall, luxury apartments, and hotel-style residential units, located in the central tourist area of Da Nang city on an area of approximately 4,000m², consisting of two 25-story towers, with a total investment of VND 1,140 billion. The Olalani Riverside Tower project is a luxury riverside apartment complex located in Son Tra ward, with a total investment of VND 7,650 billion, including three twin towers, each 26-37 stories high, providing approximately 2,500 apartments. The apartments range in size from 110-191m² and meet 5-star standards. In addition, the project also includes low-rise housing areas such as townhouses and villas. Currently, VND 1,434 billion has been invested, equivalent to 18.7% of the total investment.
Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Tam, Director of the City's Department of Finance, stated that in recent times, the city has focused on resolving legal difficulties and obstacles for projects and businesses, creating favorable conditions for investors to quickly commence construction of projects to promote the city's socio-economic development. Many real estate projects have been simultaneously implemented, and the issuance of notices designating future housing projects eligible for sale has significantly boosted construction and real estate business activities. Examples include the Center Point Da Nang project, the Han Riverfront Park Apartment project, the Da Nang Marina luxury apartment complex, the TTC Plaza Da Nang project, the The Estuary Tuyen Son complex, the Couple Sun Ponte project, the Bac Cuong Tower project, the Symphony Tower project, and the Danang Landmark Tower project…
Private investment drives growth.
According to Mr. Tran Van Vu, Head of Statistics at Da Nang City Statistics Office, in 2025, many large-scale projects implemented by private enterprises significantly contributed to the increase in realized investment capital. Notable examples include the Lang Van Tourism and Resort Urban Complex project (VND 37,728 billion); The Nam Khang Resort Residences (VND 2,625 billion); Nobu Residences Da Nang Apartment and Hotel Complex (VND 3,687 billion); New Town High-End Commercial, Service and Sports Urban Area (VND 4,889 billion); and the Ba Na Entertainment Complex (VND 11,000 billion)… These projects are not only large-scale but also have rapid implementation progress and efficient capital disbursement, making a positive contribution to the city's overall investment results. At the same time, the private sector also clearly demonstrated flexibility and strong resilience, with many businesses proactively expanding investment in potential areas such as real estate, tourism, trade, pharmaceutical production, etc., thereby contributing to the vibrancy and spread of the non-state investment market in the city.
Besides domestic private projects, a series of FDI projects have also poured into Da Nang, making the investment landscape even more vibrant. Notable examples include the KP Vina Aerospace Vietnam Co., Ltd. aerospace component manufacturing plant, with a designed production capacity of 684 products per year, marking a strategic step for the high-tech supporting industry in Da Nang; and the Foxlink Da Nang Electronics Factory (phase 1) of Foxlink Da Nang Electronics Co., Ltd., a significant project in the field of manufacturing electronic components with high export value.
Statistics show that VND 1,992 billion in FDI capital has been invested in the city over the past six months, an increase of more than 41% compared to the same period last year. This remarkable growth reflects the positive recovery signal of the FDI business sector after a long period of being affected by global economic fluctuations. In particular, many support measures from the city government, such as improving administrative procedures, removing obstacles in accessing land and resources, investment attraction policies, and post-licensing support, have initially proven effective, creating confidence for foreign investors to expand their production and business activities in the locality.
It is evident that the private sector is gradually asserting its role as the main force in investment activities in the city, clearly demonstrated by its share of 68.5% of total social investment in the past six months. During the same period, the city attracted US$122 million in FDI and nearly VND 18 trillion in domestic investment. The main driving force behind the growth of private investment is the continuously improving investment environment in Da Nang, with a series of policies encouraging and supporting private enterprises and households to boost investment and production. In addition, the city is accelerating administrative reform and improving the quality of technical infrastructure, thereby creating a favorable foundation for strong investment attraction.
